Summary

The Coach / Activity Sponsor is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising an assigned extracurricular program. This position promotes student growth, leadership, teamwork, and school spirit while ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. The Coach / Activity Sponsor provides instruction in skills and strategies, organizes practices or meetings, and supervises students during competitions, events, and activities. All athletic programs must follow Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) rules and regulations, while student clubs and activities must adhere to district policies and national or state organizational guidelines. This role supports the Scott County RIV Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) by encouraging student engagement, wellness, and achievement beyond the classroom.

Terms of Employment:  Stipend and work year established by the Board of Education. 

 

Evaluation: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with Board Policy and MSHSAA/activity standards where applicable.
